Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist who will conduct therapy sessions and comprehensive evaluations to support students’ access to the educational environment. This includes assessing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional daily living abilities within the school context. Qualified candidates will enjoy flexible work schedules and all major holidays off.
Responsibilities
- Develop and write detailed assessment reports that include targeted, practical recommendations to enhance student participation and independence.
- They will interpret and analyze students’ functional abilities in relation to their academic and developmental needs
- Provide consultation services with school personnel.
- Provide consultation services to parents to support the implementation of strategies and accommodations.
- Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress
Qualifications
- Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- PA Certified Occupational Therapist
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
- PA Department of Education Federal Criminal History Report (FBI)
- Must have Limited Liability Insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $80,000.00 per year
